Check JIPMER PG (MD/MS) Exam Results 2016 Here: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has conducted JIPMER PG 2016 entrance exam for admission to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes in various courses offered under Clinical and Basic Clinical Sciences on 22nd November, 2015 for 106 seats out of which 96 are Indian and 10 for Sponsored/Foreign candidates. Every year it conducts the Post Graduate entrance examination twice. While the exam notification for July session will be available tentatively from March, 2016. A huge number of candidates have applied and appeared for examination. Finally results are out on November 27, 2015 at 7:00 pm for the January session in their official site jipmer.edu.in .

Steps to Check JIPMER PG (MD/MS) Results 2016
- Visit the official website
- Select examination under Education section from menu
- Click on JIPMER MD/MS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION – JANUARY 2016 SESSION
- Click on Results
- The list of the selected candidates along with the roll numbers and Percentile will appear on the screen.
- Download and take a print out for further reference.
The result and merit list of JIPMER PG 2016 has been declared category wise based on minimum percentile. Candidates belonging to unreserved (UR)/Institute (INST)/Sponsored/Deputed (SD)/Foreign Nationals (FN) need to secure a minimum of 50 Percentile in order to become eligible for admissions to any post graduate course in JIPMER. However, in respect to candidates belonging to Orthopaedic Physically Challenged category (UR-OPH), the minimum percentile is 45. In respect to those belonging to OBC/SC/ST (including OPH), minimum percentile is 40 in order to pass JIPMER PG 2016 entrance exam.
Note: Candidates who secure less than a minimum percentile in the entrance exam will not be considered for admissions and their names will not be included in the merit list.
In case of two or more candidates obtain same percentile in JIPMER PG MD/MS 2016
- First preference order- candidates scoring less negative marks will be placed at a higher merit
- Second preference order -In case of tie with same merit percentile mark and same number of wrong questions, candidates’ date of birth will be considered. An elder candidate will be given preference.
