Officials have announced the OTET results on 3rd December,2015.The exam was led for the applicants who aspire to become teachers and the exam was led in two windows. The aspirants seeking to teach classes I to V took Paper I while those wishing to wind up as teachers of classes VI to VIII showed up for Paper II. It is an objective multiple type questions. The paper covered questions from the topics like Language I & II, child development& paedology, environmental and mathematics studies. Optional subjects were Social studies, Mathematics & Science.

About Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test

Odisha Board of Secondary Education started functioning in the year 1955. It regulates controls and develops Secondary Education in the State of Odisha. TET was introduced by the Government of India in order to improve standards in teaching. It was held for the first time in 2011. It is an entrance examination for Teachers. The test is occurred for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. This test is conducted by Secondary Education Department, Odisha. Every year this examination is being conducted. The applicant those who qualify in this exam will be eligible for Primary Teacher, Post Graduate Teacher and Trained Graduate Teacher post. The admission will be based on purely TET Exam those who will qualify the exam will be called for the counselling.
